Is it a girl for Prince William and Duchess Kate?

Could it be a girl for the royal family of England? The world is buzzing with delight! Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton may have accidentally dropped a major hint on the sex of her baby! During a visit to the National Fishing Heritage Center in Grimsby, England she was given a white teddy bear by a local, Diane Burton.

“Thank you, I’ll take that for my d–” Prince William’s wife replied. She then stopped and corrected herself to say, “for my baby.”

According to reports, a well-wisher asked if she was about to say “daughter.” Kate smiled and said, “We’re not telling.”

The duke and duchess of Cambridge learned the sex of their baby, but so far the only people who know are their parents.

If it’s a girl, that’s huge news for the United Kingdom. Prince William’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth II recently decreed that, should William and Kate’s firstborn be a daughter, she will be called “princess,” and referred to as Her Royal Highness.

Britain and other Commonwealth countries which have Queen Elizabeth as their monarch have agreed to change the rules of royal succession. Males no longer have precedence as heir to the throne.

If it’s a girl, there’s talk the baby could be named Elizabeth, Diana and Victoria. Many also believe top choice for hair colour is brunette.

The Duchess, 31, is now just over five months pregnant. Nothing seems to escape the tabloids. She spent four nights in the hospital in December for hyperemesis gravidarum, an acute morning sickness, which leaked to the media. The whole world found out about her pregnancy immediately after.
